The Basque Country co-creation ecosystem
The Basque Country co-creation ecosystem initiated by Arantzazulab is a meeting point for learning, connect ongoing projects and experimentation, in order to develop new knowledge, new attitudes, and new ways of thinking and doing.
Focusing on Arantzazulab’s Social Innovation approaches (collaborative governance, governance innovation for the transformation and activation of ecosystems), it has three aims:
- To connect spaces for co-creation, knowledge and stakeholders working with this approach in the Basque Country;
- To streamline experimentation spaces in order to boost creativity and generate new knowledge: two innovative experiments were launched, and concluded in December 2022;
- To experiment with new ways to fund the structure of the Innovation Ecosystem. 26 local stakeholders and Social Innovation organisations are now collaborating in this ecosystem.
